A small Scottish fleet sails into the port of Dubh Lin, and Patrick Macdoughall Chief Diplomat of the Court of Canmore walks onto the docks. He looks around, mounts a black mare and continues toward the Irish court in Eamhain Mhacha. He is accompanied by 32 Scottish knights.

Two Fianna, leaning on Dane Axes, suddenly stand to attention as the diplomat approaches, while a group of Ceithern, armed with darts and javelins, watch from the ramparts of the outer palisade of Eamhain Mhacha's vast ringfort. "Ah, you're the Albans... we've been expecting you a while now. That's quite the entourage you've brought... you're free to pass onto the hall of the Ard-Rí."

The diplomat upon arrival at the outer palisade, he nods to the Fianna. "Thank you lad."  He continues to ride to the hall of the King of Ireland with his entourage. He walks up to the entrance up the Hall alone though.
